DUE TO THE CORONA OUTBREAK THIS EVENT IS POSTPHONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
For the fourth year in a row, thé classical music festival is making its comeback in Paradiso. With once again the most beautiful classical music in all halls, no seats and no rules. This edition of Klassifest will be extra special since we'll be celebrating Ludwig van Beethoven's birthday (spoiler-alert: he's turning 250).
So, think of everything you would expect to hear at a party hosted by Ludwig himself and prepare to bump into everyone you would expect to meet there. From enchanting and world-famous sounds of his Ninth Symphony (with choir!) to lesser-known works, put in a contemporary jacket. Each part lasts a maximum of 30 minutes and you can easily walk from one hall to the next.
Klassifest is thé festival for all classical music lovers; for those who have been visiting the Royal Concertgebouw for years and for those who will be experiencing their first time listening to classical music. The possibility to admire so many top-notch ensembles in one place, whilst holding a beer in your hand, is what makes Klassifest the ultimate classical music event you cannot miss!
Happy birthday, dear Ludwig! See you April 4th.
